EVERLY HEIGHTS CONNECTIONS

  • Nat Greco, the main character, gets pulled back by the “Everly Heights Magnet” after she left at the end of Kids Like Us.
  • Michael Special from Very Special serves as a secondary protagonist. You’ll also find out the fate of his wife Meredith and catch a glimpse of his granddaughter working at The Koffee Shop.
  • Danny and Melody from The Last Chance Detective Agency appear as a crime-fighting duo.
  • Travis, Jeremy’s romantic rival in Kids Like Us, is part of Gaston’s plot to claim Cornerstone Theater for his own.
  • Jeremy Haun, the protagonist in Fanboy, and his production company Chosen Few Productions play a big part in the effort to save Cornerstone Theater.
  • Tina Infantino, the town eccentric, made her first appearance as a teenager who didn’t want to go to Space Camp in Zoo of Zero Tolerance.
  • Beatrix and her witches started in the 90s as “The Sparkles,” a group of mean girls in Very Special.
  • Jim Colvin, the current proprietor of Leroy’s Pub/creepy old man, made his first appearance as a creepy young man working for a government agency in Nosloo the Great.
  • Ryon Paisley, last seen leaving for Nashville to pursue his music career in Kids Like Us, plays a significant role as a street musician who got pulled back home by the Everly Heights magnet.
  • Benjamin Ainsley, the older kid who questioned his sexuality in Kids Like Us, tries to rekindle a hometown romance when he comes back to manage his inheritance.
  • Kelsey, the new girl at The Koffee Shop in Kids Like Us, takes the audience on a historical tour of Everly Heights after running into her old flame Nat.
  • Mr. Matheson, the math teacher in Very Special who went on to buy The Koffee Shop in Kids Like Us, makes several appearances. He mentions a rumor that the basement of Leroy’s Pub was part of some secret government project, a nod to the W.E.I.R.D.E. Task Force from Nosloo the Great.
  • Ralphie, the gang member who steals from the Quaker Intercourse Mafia in The Last Chance Detective Agency, returns to make trouble for Jim Colvin.
  • When Nat gets back to town, she stays with her skinhead friend Peter Postal, just like she did before she left town in Kids Like Us.
  • Many locations from previous scripts feature, including The Walking Bridge, The Old Chi-Chi’s, Franklin W. Dixon Memorial Library, Leroy’s Pub, The Koffee Shop, the Pancake music club, Gaston’s Diner, Dixon Park, and of course Cornerstone Theater.
