“Simple” – Mr. Matheson’s Arithme-TIPS for November 3, 2024
I always loved one panel gag comics like The Far Side and Bizarro, so when I decided I was doing my own comic strip I wanted to use the format. Problem is, it doesn't lend itself to long form storytelling. Since comic strips traditionally use one format for weekdays + Saturdays and a large color format for Sundays, I decided to make a "Sunday strip" every week that used the one panel format and doesn't need to concern itself with continuity. This first one documents those moments where your optimism gets crushed before you get out the door. Issues with getting my coffee would certainly do that for me. A new week of strips starts tomorrow. Until then...
