“The Last Straw” – Mr. Matheson’s Arithme-TIPS for December 13, 2024

Okay. I want to say a whole lot about what it going on here, but it'll come to a head this Sunday, so I'll think I'll bite my tongue. You'll notice posters for both Cornerstone Theater and Pancake on Mr. Matheson's back wall. I love adding little Everly Heights references like that, so keep an eye out! Also, I believe Jay Leno is the first solid timeline reference we have in this. For the record, I see it happening in 97 or 98. I'll keep my options open for... reasons... But that's roughly when this is all taking place, if you're following the timeline at all.

It's been a pretty emotional week on the creative side of the strip this week, because I know where it's going. All will be revealed soon. I hope you have a happier weekend than the Mathesons...

Latch on to learning!
