Greetings! I hope you had a wonderful New Year's Eve. I've always loved it, mainly because midnight is both the start of a new year for all and the kickoff of a new year of my life. You see, I was born on January 1, the first baby for the year in the town I was born in. My mom got free diapers and stuff. Since my birthday falls so close to Christmas, I generally don't do anything special for it. When I was a young punk, me and my friends would turn it into a big two day house party with 5-10 close friends, which was always fun. It often led to scenes just like the one in this comic, with a big mess to clean up the next day.

Partying hard and dealing with it tomorrow is in the rear view for me, mostly.The past several years, I'm usually asleep well before midnight. I like living on the west coast now, since I can usually hang long enough to watch the ball drop in NYC.
